F1 in Schools™ is an esteemed global STEM challenge engaging 20 million students in over 40 countries. Offering a way to learn Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) related topics in an inspiring way, F1iS involves the designing and manufacturing of a model F1 car using CAD/CAM software. The car is powered by a CO2 cartridge that runs along a 25-meter track. Teams are also required to raise adequate sponsorships to fund research, manufacturing, travel, and create a pit display and uniforms. Taking part in this competition allows students to receive exposure to numerous subjects and invaluable skills such as physics, engineering, design, finance, marketing, and resource and time management. Students also learn to collaborate in a team incorporating professional and strong work ethic.
